Research Synopsis:
Dr. Yas Moayedi’s research bridges advanced heart failure, transplantation, and digital health innovation with a focus on equity and real-world impact. Her program integrates clinical data science, wearable and contactless monitoring, and multicenter registry infrastructure to improve diagnosis, risk prediction, and care delivery across the heart failure and transplant continuum. She co-leads the International Primary Graft Dysfunction Consortium, uniting global centers to redefine early graft dysfunction phenotypes and advance AI-based prediction models. In parallel, her digital health studies including TRUE-HF, and remote monitoring initiatives in Indigenous and rural communities, pioneer equitable, decentralized models of cardiovascular care. These efforts aim to personalize transplant outcomes, democratize access to advanced therapies, and translate digital innovation into sustainable, patient-centered practice.
