Equity Enhancement Bursaries for Black and Indigenous Students

As part of the Institute of Medical Science’s (IMS) mandate to support initiatives related to Equity, Diversity, Indigeneity, Inclusion and Accessibility (EDIIA) , and to be a more proactive participant in fostering a diverse and inclusive academic environment, we are annually awarding up to five EDIIA bursaries (per bursary type) each year to current and prospective IMS students. The purpose of these bursaries is to financially support students from underrepresented groups, specifically those who are Black or Indigenous and economically disadvantaged.

2026-27 Incoming Student Application Deadline:

September 2026 Entry Deadline: Thursday July 30, 2026

January 2027 Entry Deadline: Thursday December 3, 2026
