Let's Talk Grad Wellness & IMSSA - Graduate Wellness Handbook

Check out the new edition of the Let’s Talk Grad Wellness and IMSSA Wellness Graduate Wellness Handbook!

This guide was created for you, the students of IMS, to help navigate available resources. Graduate studies, though rewarding, can be challenging. We hope that this handbook helps you to prioritize your health and wellbeing during your time at IMS!

This handbook iterates on a previous guide published by Let’s Talk Grad Wellness in 2021 and includes new sections relating to nutrition, sexual health, financial literacy, graduate student resources, and extended supports for mental and physical health. You will also find fun wellness-based activities embedded throughout these sections, including journal prompts, a budget tracker, and health facts/myths.

Graduate Peer Support Network

The Graduate Peer Support Network is a GLSE-funded initiative founded by graduate students across the Temerty Faculty of Medicine. The purpose of the GPSN is to provide Temerty Faculty of Medicine graduate students with timely mental health and wellness support, and resources via educational seminars and peer mentorship. There are four components to our mission: peer mentorship, graduate student life seminar series, fitness series and research and advocacy.
