Health & Wellness

UofT Health and Wellness

The University of Toronto is committed to providing services that support your physical and mental health. These services range from the on-campus Health & Wellness centre, to workshops and events that address specific topics of concern. As a student at the Institute of Medical Science, you have access to a broad range of amenities provided by staff, faculty, and fellow student groups.

Let's Talk Grad Wellness

Grad school is fun, but certainly challenging. It can be academically demanding, making us feel overwhelmed! It can be easy to prioritize everything other than whatever is needed to take care of ourselves both physically and mentally.

To encourage us to think about and promote our wellness, the UofT Graduate and Life Sciences Education (GLSE) paired up with IMSSA & MBPGSA’s Wellness & Wellbeing committees as part of a GLSE-funded initiative, to create a graduate wellness package.

Graduate Peer Support Network

The Graduate Peer Support Network is a GLSE-funded initiative founded by graduate students across the Temerty Faculty of Medicine. The purpose of the GPSN is to provide Temerty Faculty of Medicine graduate students with timely mental health and wellness support, and resources via educational seminars and peer mentorship. There are four components to our mission: peer mentorship, graduate student life seminar series, fitness series and research and advocacy.
