Markus Selzner Appointed Chair of IMS Student Recruitment Committee

The IMS is pleased to announce that Dr. Markus Selzner has been appointed Chair of the newly formed Student Recruitment Committee. This committee helps plan and guide our student recruitment strategy, in order to continue to attract outstanding and diverse students to our graduate program and research labs. 

Dr. Selzner is a Professor in the Department of Surgery, and Surgical Director of the Liver Transplant Program at UHN. As an Abdominal Transplant Surgeon Scientist his laboratory conducts research into organ preservation and rehabilitation and the mechanisms of ischemia-reperfusion injury to the liver. Dr. Selzner has also been a long-standing member of the IMS Admissions Committee.
