The Institute of Medical Science is thrilled to announce that staff members Emilie DesRosiers and Sobiga Vyravanathan have been recognized with Exemplary U of T Ambassador (EUTA) Awards for their outstanding contributions to advancing IMS' strategic priorities and for making a significant, positive impact on the University.
The EUTA Awards, established in 2022, celebrate individuals and teams who support the University’s mission through their remarkable contributions and daily work. The recipients demonstrate one or more of the University’s Institutional Competencies: leadership; equity, diversity, and inclusion; collaboration; stewardship; and innovation and excellence.
Emilie, Admissions & Recruitment Administrator, was recognized for her work in attracting and engaging prospective students, and for enhancing the student experience through her contributions to the new student welcome guide, virtual open house events, and standardizing operating procedure manuals for IMS' admissions portfolio.
Sobiga, Curriculum & Education Administrator, was recognized for her unwavering commitment to improving the quality of the academic experience for both IMS graduate students and Summer Undergraduate Research Program students.
"I am incredibly proud of our staff members Emilie and Sobiga for receiving Exemplary U of T Ambassador Awards" shares Dr. Mingyao Liu, IMS Director. "This recognition is a testament to their inspiring dedication, outstanding service, and to the pivotal role the administrative team plays in IMS' success."
Recipients were presented with their awards at a ceremony earlier this Spring. On behalf of the entire IMS community, congratulations to Emilie and Sobiga!
