Research Synopsis:

I use electrophysiological measures and high-resolution structural imaging to describe the phenotypic effects of disease and other insult on the human visual system. The utility of electrophysiological testing can be maximized by both modifying the stimulation and recording parameters and by using post-hoc analysis techniques designed to target the expected changes to the visual system. I am interested in developing and implementing novel testing and analysis paradigms. Machine learning is a useful clinical and research tool, it's application to the analysis of retinal imaging data will aid the early detection and treatment of disease.
