Research Synopsis
Dr. McLaughlin is an Assistant Professor and Early-Career Researcher in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Toronto and Staff Scientist in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Sinai Health System. She has experience in molecular biology, human physiology, clinical research, community-level initiatives, and national advocacy. Dr. McLaughlin's research program is focused on advancing maternal cardiovascular health through hospital- and community-level initiatives, with recent research exploring phenotype-directed management of hypertension in pregnancy.
