Dr. Karim Ladha is the Evelyn Bateman Recipe Chair in Ambulatory Anesthesia and Women’s Health at Women’s College Hospital and an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto. Dr. Ladha received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Brown University and obtained his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He then completed his residency training at the Massachusetts General Hospital and undertook a Health Services Research Fellowship with the Department of Pharmacoepidemiology at Harvard Medical School.

He leads a diverse research program that conducts innovative studies in pain and mental health using novel therapeutics including psychedelics, cannabis and neurostimulation.
