Research Synopsis
Dr. David Gomez is an Acute Care and Trauma surgeon at St. Michael’s Hospital, an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto in the Department of Surgery, a Scientist at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute, an Adjunct Scientist at ICES, and an Associate member of the Institute for Medical Science.
His main research interests include the evaluation of enablers and barriers to accessing timely and quality surgery. Dr Gomez is highly experienced in using population-based administrative data and devotes 60% of his time to research.
