Research Synopsis:

I am a pediatric allergist–clinical immunologist and translational investigator focused on improving precision diagnosis and treatment of childhood food allergy and anaphylaxis by integrating clinical innovation with multi-omics discovery. My program develops and evaluates proactive, disease-modifying therapies, particularly oral immunotherapy and biologics, while building the clinical pathways, and infrastructure needed to deliver high-risk care at scale.

Using deeply phenotyped patient cohorts and longitudinal biospecimens, my lab applies microbiome, metabolomic, and immune profiling to identify biomarkers that predict treatment response, safety, and durable remission, and to refine decision thresholds that enable personalized risk stratification. In parallel, I lead and contribute to national and international guideline and evidence-synthesis efforts to translate emerging data into practice, and I mentor trainees within an interdisciplinary team to accelerate implementation of precision, patient-centred food allergy care.
