Research Synopsis
Dr. Jin’s research interests include the epidemiology of eye diseases (e.g., glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration), vision health policy, access to healthcare (ophthalmologists, optometrists and family physicians) and health insurance. The data sources she used consist of health administrative data, Statistics Canada’s survey data and the primary data collected from physicians’ offices.
