Research Synopsis

Dr. Lo's work concerns existential psychology, which involves the study and treatment of individuals with life-threatening illness as they confront their mortality and seek to make sense of their situations and their lives. His research draws on quantitative and qualitative methods and he has designed measures of death anxiety and existential distress to promote conversations about the end of life which may ease such fears.
