Research Synopsis
The focus of Dr. Tartaglia's research program is biomarker discovery for the early diagnosis of frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD) and chronic traumatic encephalopathy. She uses a multi-modal approach that includes imaging and biofluids to better diagnose these diseases and understand the brain-behavior correlates.
The ultimate goal of her research program is to provide early, pathology-specific treatments to her patients.
