Research Synopsis:
Our research program is focused on understanding the clinical, imaging and biological characteristics of the full spectrum of peripheral nerve sheath tumors associated with neurofibromatosis. Our lab uses advanced molecular and bioinformatics techniques to interrogate the biology of these tumors to understand what drives oncogenesis and malignant transformation. Our goal is to understand the predictors of malignant transformation and develop advances in the management of both benign and malignant tumors.
