The Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology Student Union hosts:

Beyond the Lancet: Conference on Surgical Technology and Applications to Disease. The Laboratory Medicine & Pathobiology Student Union (LMPSU) invites you to attend its fifth annual student-organized conference. From robots to lasers, innovations in surgery have progressively improved the treatment of disease, as operations have become more efficient and less invasive.  This conference is the ideal platform to learn about the transformative new technologies currently utilized in surgery to treat disease.

The conference will be divided into four sections: robotics, imaging, reconstruction, and transplantation.

As part of the conference program, there will be a poster session (non-judged) from 12:15 pm – 1:15 pm, for anyone who would like to present relevant research.
